The opening Of The Interactive Museum Based On Tu-144 Is Postponed

Constructing the building near aircraft is scheduled till the end of the year. The building will include large exhibits, a lecture hall, service rooms and life support systems for the aircraft and the building itself. Work on the development of preliminary design concepts with reference to the existing building area of educational building №8 has been carried out. The technical assignment for design has been approved, the development of design and estimate documentation have been funded.

However, due to the paramount need for engineering communications, the installation of interactive demonstration complexes inside the aircraft is currently not possible. At the same time, the concept, external design and internal content of all exhibits have been developed.

Besides, due to reorganization of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the decision on the allocation of funds for the creation of an interactive museum has been temporarily suspended. Currently, efforts to finance the unrealized part of the project are being made.
