November 28 is the International Day of generosity or Giving Tuesday. It is marked by the participation of enterprises and teams in support of socially important projects.
On this day, each employee of the KNRTU-KAI could take part in making of the Interactive Museum of Technology inside Tu-144.
Many organizations in Tatarstan support this kind of charity, including ICL, the Pushkin Museum, the Kazan Kremlin. Among the all-Russian partners are Sberbank, Rosbank, the Presidential Grants Fund and others.
Giving Tuesday refers to the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. Giving Tuesday was started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to commercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season. In Russia, Giving Tuesday was first held on November 29, 2016. The initiator of the initiative was the Fund for Support and Development of Philanthropy CAF.
