The project of the disintegrator to restore and improve the quality of cement took the II place in the track “SmartCity, Agro & MedTech”.

On October 19th, the final of the Big Intelligence Innovation Project 2018 accelerator competition took place in Perm on the site of the Center for Science Library n.a. M. Gorky. This year, 150 projects from 32 cities of Russia submitted applications for participation in the accelerator. The competition featured 47 finalist projects from 12 countries. At the contest final participants defended their projects in three ways: «TechNet, IT&Robotics»; «Mining, Energy&Chemical»; «SmartCity, Agro&MedTech».

Fanil Khabibullin, postgraduate student from Department of "Machine Science and Engineering Graphics" of the Institute of Aviation, Land Transport and Energy KNRTU-KAI, with his project "Development of a disintegrator based on the Bennett mechanism for restoring and improving the quality of cement mixtures" won second prize.

“As we know, cement during long-term storage significantly loses its activity, approximately 15% of activity per month. And the project aims to develop a device designed to restore or improve the quality of cement by the method of mechanical activation. The disintegrator works on the basis of uneven rotation of the working bodies with a capacity of 1.2-2.0 t / h, with its help it is possible to increase the brand of cement to 35%. The economic effect from the use of a disintegrator is approximately 2.8 million rubles per year”, – commented Fanil Khabibullin.

The winners received cash prizes and grants from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Perm Region. The prize and grant fund amounted to 1 million rubles.
