A 16-storey building for 620 beds will be constructed at intersection of Chetaev and Adoratsky Streets.
Today, February 2, Mr. Marat Aizatullin, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the under construction dormitory for students of KNRTU-KAI at intersection of Chetaev and Adoratsky Streets.
The Minister, accompanied by Mr. Alexey Ogonev, the Vice-Rector of KNRTU-KAI for General Labor Activities, got acquainted with the construction progress, inspected the building site, and also discussed with the contractors the facility completion deadline. The Head of Minstroy RT highlighted the importance of ensuring high quality of all the work performed.
The deadline for the object commissioning is the 4th quarter of 2022. The total area of the new dormitory will be about 12 thousand square meters. The dormitory is located in close vicinity to two educational buildings of the university, including the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies, and sports facilities of the university.
