During the Board meeting at KNRTU-KAI, experts discussed problematic cases and ways of addressing them.
On March 2, in the first educational building of the university, the joint Board meeting of the Teacher Resource Center for Information Security of the Volga Federal District and the regional branch of the Academic and Methodological Universities Association of the Russian Federation for Information Security Education in the Volga Federal District took place.
Prof. Albert Gilmutdinov, the rector of KNRTU-KAI, was the first to greet the participants of the meeting: “All leaders of one of the key areas – information security – are gathered here today. Our university has been working in this direction for almost 25 years, and our applicants have always had a high passing score of the Unified State Examination. So, today I wish you every success in your work because we are in a huge demand of the greatest minds.”
Mr. Albert Yakovlev, the deputy minister of MinTsifry RT, addressed the members of the Board meeting: “Our main goals are to increase the number of graduates in the field of Information Security, to implement supplementary courses for third-party organizations and improve the availability of these courses! Therefore, I wish you all a fruitful work in raising users’ awareness and level of their proficiency.”
The members of the Board meeting also exchanged views, discussed problematic issues and considered a draft decision of the Council of the Academic and Methodological Center for Information Security of the Volga Federal District.
The participants of the meeting were then introduced to the educational and laboratory facilities of KNRTU-KAI.
