Rector of the KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov and Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Sergei Ivanov signed an agreement on cooperation.
On Wednesday, April 11, on the eve of Cosmonautics Day and on the occasion of the anniversary of the transportation of the Tu-144 airplane, an agreement was signed with the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism in the KNRTU-KAI. Rector of the University Albert Gilmutdinov and Chairman of the Committee Sergey Ivanov signed an agreement on the future interactive museum of technology on the basis of the Tu-144. According to the document, the museum will be included in the list of Kazan key tourist attractions . Before signing the agreement, Albert Kharisovich presented the future museum on the basis of the Tu-144. Rector told about the appearance, activities and functions of the project, and emphasized that the internal equipment is still under development, so development team is waiting for new ideas to bring to life the best of them.
"This is a unique project. It would not have taken place without conation and energy of Albert Harisovich," Sergei Ivanov commented "The plane stands, it is restored and it has a magnificent backlight. There is nowhere to retreat, the trajectory of movement is only forward. It’s difficult to overestimate the significance of the project in the tourist attractiveness of the city and the republic. The museum will be a pearl not only of Tatarstan and Russia, but of the whole world."
The agreement is aimed at informational support of the project to create the world's unique interactive museum of technology for children and youth on the basis of the first supersonic passenger aircraft Tu-144. Tourists will be able to learn about the museum not only on the university’s site, but also on the official tourist portal of the Republic of Tatarstan and in presentation materials.
